No Salman Khan Film This Year with 'Mental' & 'No Entry Mein Entry' Delayed

No Salman Khan Film This Year with 'Mental' & 'No Entry Mein Entry' Delayed

Because of a delayed start, Mental does not have a suitable release slot in 2013. Also, the scheduled start of No Entry Mein Entry in June is likely to be pushed back by several weeks.
As a result, there is unlikely to be a Salman Khan release this year!
Mental is going to take 135 days to complete, a source tells the TOI.
"There are five major action sequences including the high-octane climax, which takes place on a highway with Salman bringing all traffic to a halt," the source explains. "Most importantly, everything is planned bearing in mind Salman's nerve trouble (Trigeminal Neuralgia). Sohail wants to ensure it doesn't aggravate in any manner whatsoever."
By the time Mental is completed, suitable release weekends would be crowded with Krrish 3 slotted for the Diwali weekend (November 1) and Dhoom 3 expected to release around Christmas.
Mental producer and director Sohail Khan now plans to release the film around mid-January.
On completion of filming for Mental, Salman reportedly wants to immediately start working on the long delayed No Entry Mein Entry.
It was earlier expected that production for No Entry Mein Entry will start in June, but the film's producer recently told the HT, "We may not be able to start No Entry Mein Entry in June. It may be pushed back by some weeks. But we really don't mind waiting. Once Salman's health and his other issues are sorted, he will be far more relaxed."
According to the HT, No Entry Mein Entry director Aneez Bazmi may film the sequel to Aankhen for producer Pahlaj Nihalani in the interim.
